All members attended UMA in Augusta for the jazz performance program and then formed The Shades of Blue.

Juliane Gardner local singer-songwriter from Castine who has self released two discs and who has a strong background in theater (and love of) jazz. Last April 2008, my original composition "love and comforting" from my new disc, "You'll find it when you're not looking"  was aired on the ABC series "Men in Trees".

Ezra Rugg has a strong presence in the Maine music scene as well sought after bassist who plays in a variety of bands from Traditional Jazz to Reggae.

In case of rain, all outdoor events will be held at Carmen Verandah, right next to the Village Green.
