Michael Anderson
Michael grew up in a musical family. By age 13, he was playing drums and singing in the family band. Michael credits music for giving him a semblance of sanity while growing up. He played through high school and college and somewhere along the journey, he switched to keyboards, although he still enjoys an occasional drum gig.

He can't imagine a life that doesn't involve lifting heavy equipment, driving home from East Bumfuck at 3:00 in the morning, Drunk people and extremely low pay. What could be greater than that!? He has a love affair with the Hammond B3 organ, and uses a portable Hammond/Leslie when playing out.

His influences are all genres of black music and tons of organ jazz.

Frank Schwartz
A professional musician for the past thirty years, Frank Schwartz has played in too many bands to mention here. In the early 1980's he hadthe good fortune to open for major national acts including The Average White Band, NRBQ, Steve Forbert and many others with the hardest working ( and lowest paid) band in western Massachusetts, The Pleasure Dots.

Since moving to Maine in 1994, Frank has played steadily with many of downeast Maine's finest musicians, including New England blues legend, Derek Semler. In 1999 Frank partnered with the King of Southwest blues, Big Pete Pearson, to form the local incarnation of Big Pete's Arizona band, The Blues Seville's. The band played to packed houses all over Downeast Maine and Frank credits Pete with teaching him more about music in 18 months than he could have learned in a lifetime on his own.

Since Pete returned to Arizona in 2001 Frank has played steadily, mostly with his current band, The Shambles. The Shambles have built up a large, loyal following and have a reputation for playing some of the best blues, funk, and soul that Downeast Maine has ever seen.

In case of rain, all outdoor events will be held at Carmen Verandah, right next to the Village Green.
