Our Mission

The Bar Harbor Jazz Festival is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization that is dedicated to the furtherance of the original American musical art form known as JAZZ by producing performances by local, regional and national musician. The Bar Harbor Jazz Festival includes performance opportunities for students and non-professional musicians for technique-enrichment and personal fulfillment. Together, we create a meaningful community based festival that contributes to the national voice of jazz.
